Service stage and responsibilities
The brief names pouch product, loaded dimensions, film, residual gas or vacuum target, and whether gas-flush hardware is in the base machine. Manufacturers quote the chamber family they can actually build for that pouch. Adjacent fillers or labelers stay off this RFQ unless the buyer adds them as a separate line. Throughput is packs per cycle plus full cycle time at the named food, not a brochure cubic-metre pump rating.
Ask which of tooling, installation, freight to the US destination, training, commissioning, FAT witness travel and spare parts sit outside the machine price. Compressed air, cooling water for a cooled pump, and PLC interface work are often extra. No numerical saving versus “the market” is published; comparison is the set of replies to this brief. Seal-contamination and pouch-material tests belong on the same sheet so a cheap offer that omits them is visible.
Factories should answer with the same units: chamber millimetres, seal-bar length in millimetres, three-phase supply V/Hz, connected load kW if a pump package is included, work envelope and footprint. If MAP is offered, name who supplies gas connection, regulator and residual-atmosphere check. If a manufacturer cannot show the largest loaded pouch lying flat, that gap stays open rather than being replaced by a catalog photo.
Remaining buyer input: quantity, destination, delivery window, optional budget with currency and per-unit or whole-order basis, and supplier preference (premium, mid-range, budget-friendly, or compare).
