food vacuum packaging machine

A food vacuum packaging machine RFQ has to follow the product into the pouch: height after loading, liquids at the seal face, and residual gas or vacuum on that food rather than on an empty bag. Upstream portioning and downstream labeling stay as interfaces, not as implied extra machines. MAP gas-flush is optional; shelf life still needs product-specific validation outside this site.

Operating duty

Operating context
Food plants that pack pouches on a chamber machine, including double-chamber tables where one side loads while the other evacuates. Washdown, allergen changeover and mixed vacuum-only versus gas-flush SKUs change duty even when the stainless housing looks the same. This is not a tray-sealer or thermoform line landing page.

Operating duty: Equipment scope

Scope is the chamber, seal-bar layout, pump package as quoted, and MAP hardware only if named. The buyer supplies representative production samples, not a substitute bag of air. Ask whether the largest loaded pouch lies flat after the proposed bar position, because usable millimetres shrink when bars move. Cycle time includes load, evacuate, seal and unload at the named food.

Price exclusions

Gas bottles, regulators, residual-atmosphere meters, conveyors, labelers and installation labour are often outside the machine price. Cooling water for a cooled pump and compressed air for lid assists belong on the utility list. Comparing a food vacuum packaging machine offer that includes those items with one that does not is a cost-boundary exercise, not a discount claim.

Response basis

Factories should state residual gas or vacuum measurement on the actual product, seal-contamination checks, and pouch-material tests for the film you name. Throughput as units/h is only comparable when the product, bag and operator sequence are the same. PLC interface names matter if the line records cycle data. FAT and SAT remain contract items.

Remaining confirmation: upstream portion weight variation, downstream bag handling, washdown chemistry, and whether changeover between vacuum-only and MAP SKUs needs extra tooling. Use the catalog for inquiry labels and the gas-flush note before treating a MAP button as a preservation claim. Send the application brief.
